After earning a Master’s in Business from the Norwegian Management School in 1986, he began his career with Wilhelmsen in Oslo. He joined Pacific Basin Shipping in 1989, working in Hong Kong, Malaysia throughout his tenure, and relocated to Germany in 1999.

A Naval Engineer from Portugal, Susana started her career in Portuguese shipyards before joining Lloyd’s Register. She then held various leadership roles before joining Swire Group where she worked for Steamships Shipping in Papua New Guinea, and as GM of Swire Bulk Logistics. In 2019, Susana became President Director and CEO of PT MBSS in Indonesia before becoming Chief Sustainability and Energy Transition Officer for Swire Shipping and Swire Bulk in Singapore in 2022.
